How are your footbaths cleaned for pedicures? |
| I've recently started using a Footsie Bath. Each client gets a new liner which is thrown away after the pedicure. This guarantees a sanitary pedicure for every client. The Footsie Bath is then cleaned with Citrus II Hospital Germicidal Deoderizing Cleaner. Citrus II is an EPA approved germicide that is effective as a bactericide, fungicide, and virucide, including Hepatitis B and C, HIV-1 (AIDS) and Tuberculosis. |
How can I be sure the tools used during my pedicure are clean? |
| All of the metal tools, cuticle pushers, nippers, etc are washed with warm, soapy water and rinsed before being placed in a jar filled with Let's Touch. Let's Touch is a Hospital & Tuberculocidal Disinfectant They sit in this solution until they are used again. This insures that every tool I use is clean and sanitary. A new nail file, beechwood stick and foot file are used for each client and then either thrown away or given to the client to take home and use again. |
